Saturday, November 28, 2009 www.fosters.com Saturday, November 28, 2009 On Friday, November 20, Kittery Trading Post collected approximately 3,500 non-perishable food items for Footprints Food Pantry. The first 200 people entering Kittery Trading Post on Friday with three or more cans of food received a free KTP gift card with a value of $10 to $500. "The response we received from the public to our food round-up was absolutely overwhelming. There must have been at least 450 people with their food donations waiting in line for the store to open, and many of them gave us more than three items for the round-up," said Jon Morrill, Vice President of Specialty Sports. Those still in line after the 200 gift cards were distributed, were given a 10 percent off coupon from the store. All food collected was delivered to Footprints Food Pantry in Kittery on November 24. Footprints provides food for the needy in Kittery, Kittery Point and Eliot, Maine.
