New England Bird Language Intensive

Part art, part science – Understanding Bird Language can make us “invisible” on the landscape.

Date: Wednesday, May 2nd (late afternoon) thru Sunday May 6th (midday) 2012

Learn to decipher what the birds can tell us about the locations & intentions of other animals and about our own movement and awareness. This intensive will open your senses to the various “shapes” of bird language. The skills you’ll leave with will compliment birders (both new & veteran), wildlife trackers, hunters, outdoor educators, & nature enthusiasts. Each day, we learn from the pros—the birds themselves. We sit, listen, watch, map & question. We also have small & large group debriefs, lectures, games, activities (like tracking and bird ID), as well as a little social time.

Cost: $550 (includes all food and camping)
