Intermediate Fly TyingOur slightly more advanced tying class - a great way to improve your skills or brush off rusty ones.
Intermediate Fly Tying is perfect for those who have been tying their own flies for a while, or for people who have attended our introductory class and are ready to advance and refine their skills. Students should be able to tie basic fly patterns and have a working knowledge of fly tying methods and techniques.
Along with a thorough focus on New England saltwater and freshwater flies, we will be tying more involved patterns than in the introductory class, using new and more varied materials. Each class will focus on a different fly pattern. Take one, or take them all!
All classes are taught by KTP's own Scott Round, an avid fisherman who has been fly fishing (both fresh and saltwater) and tying flies for over 30 years.
Class size limited to 12, advance reservations/sign up required. All tools and materials will be provided - just show up and have fun!
